•  400 gr. natural tofu cut into sticks
  •  3 tbsp spice mix for chicken
  •    2-3 tbsp lemon juice
  •    120 gr. flaxseed
  •   1 cup. flour
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  •    4 tbsp olive oil
  •  oil for frying
  •  salt – pepper


  1.    Place in a bowl tofu,  spices mix, lemon juice, olive oil, salt – pepper and mix well.
  2.   Place the bowl in the refrigerator for 1 to 3 days
  3.  Boil flaxseed with 500 gr. water over very low heat, after some time you will see that this mixture has become sticky like egg … (so with that we will replace the egg in the breading).
  4.  Allow the mixture to cool so we can put our hands in.
  5. We are moving with the process for breading, first dip the tofu in the mixture of flaxseed, after in the flour, again in flaxseed and finally in the bread crumbs (make sure to cover all the tofu with it).
  6. Deep Fry for 4 to 5 minutes or until the nuggets get a golden brown color

Serve with tofu mayonnaise
