- 200gr soya mince
- 1 kl tomatoes blended
- 100 gr sundry tomatoes blended
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 big onion chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic chopped
- 1 tsp oregano
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp spice mix for kebap
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- salt – pepper to taste
Preparation
- soak soya in water for 20 minutes
- drain well
- put olive oil and soya in a fry pan an cook in medium heat for 5-6 minutes, add onion, garlic and oregano and continue cooking until until soya becomes dark brown (stir constantly)
- put the remaining ingredients, continue cooking in medium heat until sauce becomes thick
Base
- 1 kl potatoes cut in slices
- 1/2 kl aubergines cut in slices
- 2 tsp oregano
- 8 tbsp olive oil
- salt – pepper
- put potatoes in a basin an mix well with 1 tsp of oregano, 4 tsp of olive oil, a pinch of salt an pepper
- place them in and oven pan and bake for about 30 minutes (180C) or until they become soft
- do exactly the same with the aubergines
In an oven pan put in sequence potatoes, aubergines, sauce
bechamel
- 1 lt soya milk
- 2 tbsp apple sauce or apple syrup
- 6 tbsp flour
- 1tsp ground nutmeg
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1tsp salt
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
preparation
- place all ingredients except apple sauce in a sauce pan an stir well with a whisk
- bring to a boil in medium heat keep whisking constantly
- remove from heat and add the apple sauce whisk well and spread bechamel over the sauce, cover the whole pan.
- sprinkle with the bread crumbs and bake in a preheated oven (180C) for about 40 minutes
