12 vegetarian sausages, 8 green peppers, 4 horn peppers (not hot), 4 yellow peppers, 1 pound grated tomatoes, 1 tbsp tomato paste, 4 cloves garlic, 1 teaspoon oregano, 1 teaspoon of sugar, 100 gr . olive oil, 1 glass of white wine, salt – pepper
preparation
Peel the peppers from the seeds and cut into quarters, cut the sausages into thick slices and finely chop the garlic.
In a large frying pan heat oil and add the peppers, oregano and salt.
Once browned add the sausage and garlic, saute for 5 minutes stirring often and add the wine.
Reduce heat and add the tomato paste and tomatoes , add salt , pepper and sugar.
Cook for another 10 minutes or until sauce thickens..
